Gateway AI in EDU Summit

In trios, participants test a real district AI policy against an ordinary school day, then identify where it breaks. This interactive
exercise reveals the gap between what a policy says and what actually happens when a student or staff member hits the Enter key. Participants then will discuss how that gap can be addressed through a strategy built on visibility and enforcement.

This session focuses on shifting administrative leadership from 'task-mastery' to 'diplomatic influence' by using AI to personalize staff growth. Activities include an AI Sandbox where leaders use prompts to generate differentiated VARK-style resources and a diplomatic coaching simulation to script difficult conversations with resistant staff. Participants leave empowered to use technology as a surgical tool for influence.
