Gateway AI in EDU Summit

This session explores how AI tools can strengthen tiered intervention systems at the elementary level — translating data into actionable next steps for both academic and behavioral support. Participants examine real examples from consortium classrooms and leave with practical frameworks for integrating AI into their RTI/MTSS cycle without losing the human relationship at the center.

This session moves beyond the 'wow factor' of AI and into the 'should we factor.' Since elementary educators are often short on time but high on heart, this PD focuses on practical frameworks and the human-in-the-loop philosophy. K–5 educators leave with a critical lens for evaluating AI tools and three immediately usable strategies for building responsible digital citizenship in young learners.
