About me
Michele Lockhart is Supervisor of Humanities at the Atlantic County Institute of Technology, where she leads curriculum, instruction, and professional learning across the humanities. Her session — The Scaffolding Shift: Using Metacognition to Move from AI to Autonomy — is grounded in action research from her own district and equips educators with a lesson design template that intentionally fades AI support over time, moving students toward independent mastery.
