Kimberly SmithKimberly Smith is a K–8 Computer Science and Design Thinking/STEAM teacher, Instructional Innovation Coach, and school technology leader at Saint Raphael School in Hamilton, New Jersey. With more than 25 years of experience, she creates inclusive, hands-on learning experiences that connect computer science, engineering, artificial intelligence, robotics, 3D design and printing, and authentic problem-solving. Kimberly has presented at national and regional conferences, including ISTELive, the CSTA Annual Conference, TCEA, MACUL, OETC, NYSCATE, Vermont Fest, the EdTechTeacher AI Summit, and CSTANJ CSPDWeek. Her work emphasizes equitable access, student voice, computational thinking, creative problem-solving, and the thoughtful use of emerging technologies to strengthen meaningful student learning. She serves on the CSTA National Reflective Teachers Committee and as Secretary of CSTANJ. Kimberly is also the founder of KMS Discoveries LLC, providing professional learning, consulting, curriculum support, conference presentations, and EdTech collaboration for educators, schools, districts, and educational organizations.
